Adrian Ocampo is a Senior Engineering Manager at Microchip Technology Inc., where he leads a multidisciplinary team of engineers in the development of power products for space applications and exploration. With over 20 years of experience, Adrian has contributed to the design of products deployed on the International Space Station, Mars Rover Lander, Joint Polar Satellite System, and numerous NASA missions. Adrian began his career in 2002 as a Reliability Engineer after earning a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. He has since developed expertise in the effects of natural space radiation on electronics and in designing circuits to mitigate these effects, ensuring reliable operation in deep space environments. Before assuming his current managerial role, Adrian served as a Senior Technical Staff Design Engineer. His areas of expertise include Worst Case Circuit Analysis, Radiation Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, EMI Filter Deesign, Magnetics Design, PCB Design, Analog Control, and Power Converter Design.
